Our Team
Andrew Goings
CEO/FounderAndrew Goings founded his custom homebuilding and renovation company with a vision to transform his lifelong passion for craftsmanship and construction into a business that builds homes better and restores spaces. Armed with a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of building science, he has spent years honing his skills in craftsmanship, project management, and construction details. He focuses on the intricacies of custom builds, from the foundation to the final trim, and his meticulous attention to detail became his trademark.
Andrew graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Construction Management. After spending a few of his early years in commercial construction, Andrew found a passion for the custom residential side of the industry. Andrew is a certified passive house builder through Passive House Institute US (PHIUS) and serves as the PHIUS Southeast Representative. Andrew enjoys sharing his knowledge with the next generation of builders by guest speaking at his former alma mater and local high schools. When he's not on a job site, Andrew can be found woodworking, training for his next triathlon, or saying "yes" to just about any sport someone suggests. He enjoys spending time with his wife and new baby girl, who has already proven she’s better at setting the schedule than any builder.
Project ManagerJacob Kutsche
Jacob brings nearly a decade of hands-on construction experience to his role as Project Manager, having started working in home renovations at just 15 years old. What began as hands-on experience doing renovations himself has grown into extensive experience overseeing luxury renovations and ground-up custom builds. His practical understanding of construction, paired with a strong appreciation for design and craftsmanship, allows him to approach each project with both a builder’s knowledge and a designer’s eye.
As a Project Manager, Jacob is on the job site daily, ensuring projects stay organized, efficient, and moving forward. He works closely with subcontractors and homeowners throughout the building process, prioritizing clear communication, strong relationships, and attention to detail. His interest in architecture and creativity has given him a particular appreciation for thoughtful design and the craftsmanship that brings a space together.
Above all, Jacob values integrity and believes that doing things the right way extends beyond the work itself—it means being honest, dependable, and treating every homeowner and trade partner with respect. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys sports, serving at his church, spending time with his wife, and tackling the never-ending list of projects around his own home.
Grace Goings
Marketing and Client Relations ManagerGrace leads our client relations and marketing, helping create a thoughtful and memorable experience from the first conversation through the completion of each project. She oversees AGO Builds’ social media and website, sharing our projects, process, and the people behind the work.
Grace brings a background in strategic communication, marketing, and storytelling, including experience working with global brands and organizations, collaborating with newsrooms and media outlets, and developing communications for audiences around the country. A graduate of Georgia College & State University, she combines a passion for meaningful communication with an appreciation for thoughtful design and the details that make each project unique. Whether she’s guiding the client experience or sharing a project as it comes to life, Grace is passionate about connecting people to the process and the story behind every build. You’ll probably find her on the jobsite with her camera in hand, capturing the details of a project.
